Description My client is looking to recruit a Direct Business Centre Consultant for their office in Skipton working with the sales team, whose main focus is the creation of sales opportunities for their financial advisers by appointment/lead generation. The department makes outbound calls to prospective clients from warm lead sources provided from maturities, seminars, direct mail responses, national and local advertising and affinity partners. In addition, the team also takes inbound calls from several 0800 numbers. These are publicised in a wide variety of media such as Local and National Newspapers and generate a healthy level of response. The role demands drive, enthusiasm, personality and a desire to deliver a first class service to both existing and prospective clients. Successful applicants must be able to display and develop telephone based selling and communication skills. Consultants will be experienced telesales individuals who are looking to break into financial services or develop existing skills. There will be a comprehensive training programme at commencement covering technical, communication and selling skills. You will have a proven record of sales success over the telephone in any capacity and an outstanding ability to communicate with clients across the board. Financial services investment experience would be an advantage and full FPC/Certificate in Financial Planning is essential.
