Description The successful candidate will have responsibility for service delivery & regulatory compliance for the commercial insurance division. This will involve defining processes & working practices, working with the commercial motor, property and liability managers to embed new operations practices & drive ongoing improvement. Responsibilities: · Develop & implement streamlined processes, working practices & workflow procedures · Establish & achieve market leading SLA’s & quality standards · Develop & implement effective monitoring, control & reporting procedures & management information · Work closely with IT to scope, develop & implement necessary IT & telephony functionality & systems · Drive innovation, change & continuous improvement · Work to meet governance & regulatory requirements & co-ordinate compliance, risk & audit activities · Manage or participate in projects when required · Play a pro-active part in identifying self development needs in order to achieve personal & business goals & address these through personal performance plans  Essential experience: · Strong leadership & collaborative management experience · A commercial insurance broker or commercial lines insurer background · Understanding of commercial property, liability & motor insurance · Experience managing budgets · Proven track record of successfully managing large commercial insurance operations & achieving their trading & service objectives · Experience of the development & implementation of processes & working practices in both a Branch Network & centralised commercial operations centre. · Regulatory & compliance requirements awareness · Relevant degree & progress towards professional qualifications (CII) · ability to travel to other sites on a regular basis Hillman Saunders Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
