Description This role will be responsible for finding, developing and growing new business opportunities within the region. The focus will be on developing Technology and Media business but will involve underwriting and developing all lines of business. The role will involve extensive broker development and the successful candidate will be expected to actively identify scheme and cross sell opportunities and to continue to build the branch Professional Risks business. The ideal candidate will have a good combination of PI / technology / media technical underwriting and development skills, but with their skill set perhaps more weighted to the development side. The role is not a typical 9-5 office role and the candidate will need to be comfortable with at least 2 days out of the office per week, doing 3/4 broker visits per day. This requires self motivation and a desire to get out amongst the brokers to develop relationships and business. Hillman Saunders Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
