Description My client based in Leeds is looking to recruit a PI Consultant to settle GI personal injury claims so that the requirements of the customer, claims policy and Group strategy are met. Applicants must have: · Significant experience in handling claims up to £75000, understanding of multi track procedures · Proven track record in utilising experts to best tactical advantage · Ability to negotiate and settle claims in a proactive way · Good understanding of relevant legislation and procedures. · Working knowledge of relevant case law. · Good communication skills. · Ability to apply prudent judgement in difficult situations. · Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and take responsibility for own workload · 1 A level or professional equivalent · ACII desirable The successful candidate will be required to settle Personal Injury and Liability claims through correct negotiations so that customer requirements are met and the claims policy is adhered to, to settle Personal Injury claims including claimants costs through correct negotiations with Third parties and to investigate and make sound judgement on liability. Salary for this role is up to £25k basic. The benefits package includes 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays and the ability to buy and sell more), an annual bonus scheme which is targeted at 10% but can potentially be up to 30% of annual salary, pension scheme, discounted products and childcare voucher scheme.
