Description My client, a well known international law firm, is looking to recruit a paralegal/legal executive in the Travel and leisure team in the Insurance practice group, based in Liverpool. The work involved will relate to travel and leisure clients providing leisure activities/facilities holidays based in the UK and also overseas as well as work for some of their retail clients. You will be required to give assistance on a case by case basis to the team including drafting disclosure lists, Part 8 proceedings, witness statements and dealing with clients, with the necessary supervision with a view to going on to manage a supervised caseload. The ideal candidates will have some experience of Travel/Leisure/Retail industry work and have excellent organisational skills ideally with knowledge and experience of CPR.  Applicants must have a confident telephone manner and be able to work with minimal supervision, although training and support will be provided in the role.  There will also be billing and credit control administration attached to this position and general support to the team and the post-holder will be responsible for their own typing. The role may involve, from time to time, travelling throughout the UK to attend trials or see clients. This may involve overnight stays.
