Description
As Private Banking Manager you will proactively build and develop a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing advice upon a broad range of financial matters, in order to maximise the level of client service & provision of cross sales opportunities.
Requirements
• To proactively build and develop a portfolio of high net worth clients, in a specific geographic or sector location, in order to maximise the level of wealth management services & cross selling opportunities, in a compliant manner.
• To proactively service existing clients and obtain referrals from new business opportunities and existing client base in a compliant manner in order to achieve business growth objectives (number of new clients, income, and funds introduced into investment portfolios and to increase deposit/lending book) as agreed with the Area Manager.
• To identify needs and facilitate the provision of other services either directly via the Private Banking Channel or by introduction to other appropriate parts of the group.
• To sell standard Tax, Trusts & Will services to existing clients, either directly or referring to experts in order to meet/exceed specified financial/client objectives.
Responsibilities
• Positive responses to a broad cross-section of client satisfaction surveys – including minimum number of complaints/breaches of regulatory requirements.
• The ability to impress clients and other team members with a broad knowledge/understanding of financial services and products.
• To be interested and show an understanding of national/international financial affairs.
• The number of referrals, and retention of clients in line with business plan and personal targets.
• The additional investment income taken on and sale of new products and leads /activity in line with business plan.
The Individual
The successful candidate will have:-
• Highly developed relationship skills and previous success in a selling/lead generation role, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Successful experience of working closely with a cross section of high net worth customers.
• Highly knowledgeable about financial services/products in the market place – particularly investment, wealth management and banking.
• A mature and self-confident nature who can interact well with people of influence.
• Attained IAC 3/ FPC3 or equivalent
• A track record in meeting business targets and influencing bottom line figures.
• An understanding of Regulated Sales.
