Description
To motivate, lead and develop a successful team of Associates - Client Solutions within Client Solutions, to deliver reports and research to enable the delivery of appropriate advice to clients by Wealth Advisers. To ensure the efficient production of client reports and to develop and maintain effective business processes, including developing strong working relationship between the Client Solutions team and the Wealth Advice team. To champion improvements to the advice preparation process.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:-
To provide team supervision and leadership
To manage the workflow within your team in order to meet the service standards agreed with the Head of Client Solutions
To understand and address with the Head of Client Solutions opportunities for operational improvement within the Client Solutions team and the preparation of advice in general.
To work with other Managers – Client Solutions and the Head of Client Solutions to manage workflow within the Client Solutions team.
To provide support and guidance to your team members in the achievement of their objectives.
To work closely with other business units, especially Wealth Advice Group and Advice Policy Team, to ensure a high quality service to clients.
To work with the Head of Client Solutions to enhance existing report templates and develop new ones as required.
To seek input from team to ensure that our report templates and library meet the needs of our business.
To identify training and coaching needs and develop plans for each team member, in conjunction with Learning and Development.
To perform performance reviews and 1:1s with each team member at the specified intervals.
To maintain and improve own relevant knowledge and skills.
To maintain and improve leadership skills.
To manage holidays and absences within your team.
To ensure that all company processes and standards are followed and that risks are escalated to the Head of Client Solutions in a timely manner . To create and maintain a framework of monitoring and measuring performance within your team together with the Head of Client Solutions to ensure a high quality service
To provide MI to the Head of Client Solutions or other Managers when required
Skills
Strong technical knowledge of financial services products
Experience in a Wealth Management environment
Effective communication, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of people management practices and procedures
Understanding of FSA Compliance, Data Protection Act and Anti Money Laundering legislation
Effective use of Microsoft Office products and Adviser Office
Organisational skills
Analytical skills
Persuasive communication and negotiation skills
Qualifications
Relevant business / management qualification desirable
Ideally have Diploma in Financial Planning
Working towards Chartered status
