    The Client

    You will be working for a global leader for HR and related financial advice, products and services.


    The Opportunity

    You will manage a team providing a reliable, high standard of Pension Payroll service to a portfolio of clients, and ensuring the team meets their objectives in line with the business plan. You will identify and escalate business risk, proposing and implementing solutions where appropriate; reporting to the Operations Manager.

    •Organise and motivate team members to achieve client service levels through coaching, direction, good working Practices
    •To ensure that controls and procedures are in place and being adhered to consistently across the complete portfolio of client, including complaints, within appropriate timescales and propose and agree resolutions to minimise risk of ongoing repetition.
    •To identify, investigate and propose solutions with regards to process and procedural improvement and ensure that any changes to standard procedures are documented and communicated across the team.
    •To build and maintain good working relationships with key client contacts
    •To support client management by participating in client meetings, presentations, audits and visits as required.
    •To support client management as required, e.g., provide Management Information (MI) and reports as requested; to identify project requirements and agree project delivery, and to assist in the pricing and communication of non standard activities.
    •To support in the liaison and relationship management of third parties.


    The Individual

    You will ideally come from a financial services environment and have the following;

    • Relevant pension and / or payroll experience
    • Relevant experience of managing a team
    • Ideally working towards a professional payroll qualification
    • Ability to delegate, provide constructive feedback and identify development needs
    • Ability to build and maintain client relations
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Analytical aptitude
