Description A general insurance commercial underwriting opportunity is available in the South East. Applications are welcome from candidates with a strong working knowledge of commercial SME/commercial schemes general insurance underwriting. The role will involve: Providing quotations, underwriting and processing of scheme/non-scheme new business, renewals and endorsements Ensuring a full working knowledge of products is achieved and maintained. Developing and maintain excellent working relationships with clients Assist in maintaining statistics for numbers of policies, limits of indemnity, etc. Providing technical assistance and guidance on underwriting matters Liaise with claims department to resolve queries.
